At this year’s edition of ICONIC AWARDS 2025: Innovative Architecture, X Architecture & Engineering was honored with the WINNER title for two landmark projects: One Verdi Park, developed by One United Properties, and Yacht Kid, developed by Yacht Kid Properties.
One Verdi Park has transformed a former industrial site into a major urban landmark. The two impressive towers, connected by a suspended garden with a running track, define a spectacular residential experience. Construction began during the uncertain times of the pandemic and underwent a swift conversion from offices to housing — an exemplary process of agile design, adaptability, and innovation.
Yacht Kid, located in the Fabrica de Glucoză area in northeastern Bucharest, reflects a deep connection between architecture and nature. Inspired by the proximity of Lake Tei, the project integrates cascading terraces with pools and curved balconies that have become a defining feature of its design. The ventilated façade incorporates the Kid Technology System — an innovative system of factory-assembled panels offering high thermal and acoustic performance.
The ICONIC AWARD stands as recognition of the collective work of an extended team of more than 500 professionals who contributed to the development of these emblematic projects.
For us, this distinction is a motivation to continue designing buildings that combine functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics, contributing to the evolution of the urban environment and to the growth of the communities in which they are placed.
