Excerpt from the article:
How would you define XAE’s philosophy in relation to the idea of architecture that inspires and transforms?
At X Architecture & Engineering, architecture is not just a response to functional needs, but a catalyst for urban and social transformation. We believe in the power of space to influence mood, behavior, and the connections between people. With every project, we aim to create places that inspire, that activate the city, and that foster dialogue between the past and the future.
What does “the poetic approach to space” mean to you, and how do you integrate it into your projects?
For us, “the poetic approach to space” means more than aesthetics—it’s about emotion, rhythm, light, and materiality. We are guided by the idea that every project should tell a story, creating a subtle dialogue between the individual and the environment, between built form and nature. For example, in our projects we explore natural light as a compositional element, materials as storytellers of the local context, and spatial transitions as sensory experiences.
